Is it worth it to pay $70 for a mandoline? If it were a mandolin for serenading the gorgeous guy next door the answer would be obvious. But $70 for a low-tech kitchen implement the same shade of puke green they used to paint hospital walls, which you will probably use at most three times a year? You be the judge.

Might you seduce the gorgeous guy next door with hand-made, paper-thin potato chips?
ReplyDeleteThey're actually turnip chips, which aren't all that conducive to seduction.
ReplyDeleteBut do you know this to be a fact?
DeleteActually no, I'm just hypothesizing that that is the case. If I get some funding, I will test the hypothesis and let you know the outcome.
DeleteI'm a bit jealous.
ReplyDeleteI have a small mandoline, maybe I need a bigger one?
ReplyDeleteTrump would certainly think so.
