Objects (#2)

Recently, I attended an online mindfulness summit. One presenter—whose porcine appearance and adenoidal voice initially creeped me out, but who turned out to be a sweetie—stated that in the beginning one uses the breath as the object of attention, but eventually one abandons all such objects. Some day, you may find my breath in a basket on your doorstep.
