Secrets and Lies (#14)

Like an aging trope*, I’ve taken to reading obituaries. The majority contain some variant of “so-and-so died peacefully.” I wonder how often that’s true... I hope for all our sakes it’s 99.99999% of the time. But I remember a nurse who said that that’s not the case. 

I’m glad Canada now allows medical assistance in dying. 

*I'm not sure this phrase makes sense, but I feel linguistically reckless this morning.
